Best Ever Banana Bread - Sammy Makes Six

Best Ever Banana Bread

This is a sponsored post in collaboration with Mirum Shopper, however all opinions are my own.

During the summer months when the kids are home we go through food incredibly fast. Which means that we are constantly in the kitchen baking up something for the next few days. One of my favorite foods by far has always been banana bread and I always used to think that it was something really hard to make. But a few weeks ago I found a super simple recipe for banana bread on the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter website and have already made my family a few batches. This recipe is especially great when you have overripe bananas, which we have a lot of during these really warm summer months. So this recipe is the best and easiest way to get those bananas used up, plus you can give your family a treat for them to really enjoy.

The ingredient that makes this recipe shine is one that I always have in my fridge, I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter, which is made with real, simple ingredients like a blend of delicious blend of oils, purified water and a pinch of salt. I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Original has amazing fresh butter taste in a deliciously simple recipe. This creamy spread contains no artificial flavors, no artificial preservatives and 0 grams trans fat, which means I can top my banana bread with a little bit more of that butter too, because why not? Anyways, let me share this yummy recipe so you can see just how easy it is to make your family a warm loaf of banana bread.

Best Ever Banana Bread

  • INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 large ripe bananas, mashed, (1-1/2 cups)
  • 1 cup I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

  • DIRECTIONS:
  • Preheat oven to 350°. Brush 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with additional I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread; set aside.
  • Combine first 5 ingredients in large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients until blended and spoon into prepared pan.
  • Bake 60-70 minutes. Allow to cool for at least 20 minutes, remove from pan and cool completely. Serve in slices.

I wish you could smell this straight out of the oven! It smells SO good.

I like to serve it in large slices with a glass of ice-cold milk and sit all of the kids around the table.
