Our kids are very excited about Halloween, it really is our favorite holiday and this year it has been a lot of fun getting ready for it. Of course we have been doing as many Halloween themed activities as possible. Right now we are looking forward to at least two pumpkin patch trips and some fun pumpkin carving. If you have kids, this is a perfect time to do so many things with them, I think it's why my Sammy and the grandkids enjoy this season so much. Even at home there are so many things to do, we've been doing some major arts & crafting.
This week we took some of the kids favorite snacks and created a cute Fank - N - Parfait. This special treat is going to be perfect for an upcoming Halloween family get together and we might even make them again on Halloween and pass a few out to friends and family. Halloween time is all about the yummy sweets and this treat is too cute and good not to share!
For this edible craft we used:
Transform your NABISCO Go-Paks into Frankenstein.
acrylic paint in green and black
1 pair of google eyes
small paint brush
paint NABISCO Go-Pak green and lid black, allowing at least 30 minutes to dry
now your kids can get artsy by painting their version of a Frankenstein face
attach google eyes and lid and you have a scary and fun fellow who is ready for some sweetness
Frank - N - Cookie Parfait
Add a few spoonfuls of NABISCO Go-Paks! Mini OREO Golden Sandwich Cookies. Layer with a full half-frozen Chocolate/Vanilla ice-cream slush flavor that is addicting. Now add a few more OREO Golden Sandwich Cookies and top with Reddi Wip Original.
Talk about a frightfully delicious treat! I had to make my own because there was no way that I was going to miss out on this delicious concoction.
I picked up everything I used in this treat and tutorial at Walmart. They have a huge selection of really affordable arts and crafts items so you can get the kiddos imaginations going and they have the Go-Paks!, Snack Pack® puddings and the Reddi-Wip in the food section. I love how I can grab a ton of the Go-Paks! for only $1 each and have them ready for all occasions, including outings with the kids and snack time at home. These should be in all moms arsenals.
Fun and yummy!
We are looking forward to Halloween. What sweet treat could you create using these yummy items?
