With fall's arrival comes the arrival of new fall fashions, styles and for those of us who adore makeup, new fall looks. Right now it's all about the dark wine lip and neutral eye with a beautiful looking flush to the cheeks. As someone who loves fall, I was excited to see the new plaid design on the LISTERINE® bottles I buy for my family. I love me some plaid and I love this design!

I found these cute bottles at Target where you can currently find this Cartwheel offer for 10% off (live from 9/13 - 10/31.) I was excited to bring them home to where I am already decorating for fall and of course they fit right in. On the day I got them, they had a buy three get one free deal, so keep an eye out for that. We always use LISTERINE®, so I love a good stock up deal.

This new LISTERINE® plaid design inspired me to bring out one of my new plaid tops and create an easy fall make-up look. Follow along and see how simple it is to create a "fall face".

I'm a huge makeup lover, as you might know, but I am also all about keeping it simple. I don't have a lot of time to get my face on most days, so I really just keep it easy and fast. The first step for today's look is a bare face that has been cleansed and moisturized. This IS the bare face of a forty two year old woman so do not be afraid!

Step 1: Apply a light and dewy foundation. You can apply any foundation you like but during the cooler fall months, I enjoy a dewy finish on my dry skin.
Step 2: Your eyebrows are super important and should not be ignored. Mine are not very clean right now since I am growing them out but using an angled brush and brow powder I create a stronger brow, more like the ones I wish I had.
Step 3: I used a brown/copper shadow on my entire eyelid. I am a big fan of wearing one shade on the lids, it's easy and just gives your eyes that extra pop versus not wearing any. If you're not an expert at applying shadow, wearing just one shade takes all the guesswork out of all the blending. Also apply a good mascara to curl your lashes and finish off the eye look.
Step 4: Step four is one that I never skip because I think it makes such a huge difference in my face. I don't do heavy contouring at all, instead I take a little bit of bronzer and brush it along the sides of my nose, under my cheekbones and under my jawline. Make sure not to leave any hard edges by blending it all out.

Step 5: Blush! This is one of my favorite steps. Since I am going to do a bright lip, I picked a neutral shade that goes with everything. I love blush so I might add a little more than the norm but I love a really flushed cheek.
Step 6: My favorite step! I am all about the lippie and have such a great time choosing one every day. For fall, I am totally about the wines, cranberries and browns. For today's look I picked a wine/berry shade that really brightens up my face and gives me that perfect fall look.

Voilà! This look took only 15 minutes to complete and it is super easy to do. I am NOT a makeup expert, but I do think this is a fantastic look for fall without too many steps. This look will look great with all of my new plaid tops and it's going to be one of my go-to's for fall.

I can not wait for the weather to cool down so I can wear my new plaid tops. With my new clothes, cute LISTERINE® with plaid design and fall makeup-look, I am ready to enjoy those crisp, fall days. Someone just needs to clue California and Mother Nature in on it because it's still way hot. But soon...soon! Are you a fan of plaid or what is your favorite fall style?
