I am a very hands-on grandmother and I really enjoyed our spring break vacation with 4 of my grandkids. It's hard to believe that we came back from that amazing week at the beachside only three weeks ago. How time flies when you're super busy!! Yes, we had an amazing time in Carlsbad and I have a ton of photos and video of everyone having a very enjoyable time. This vacation went smoother than the first three day getaway we took back in March, where we kind of went off as a spur of the moment thing without really thinking it through. That time we didn't pack enough of anything for the kids and we kind of went boho...but boho doesn't work with babies who need their diapers changed a few times a day. I'm out of practice with little ones that young and more used to Anthony's two diapers a day, I was not prepared for the kid who needed a fresh diaper every three hours or less.

No one is going to ever forget the day that little Jeremiah had to go commando on Frazee Beach. We had packed up the kids, towels, and all kinds of sand toys and crossed the street to spend the day playing in the waves. We packed the one diaper for Jeremiah that he had left and it just happened that he immediately soiled it (of course). No one wanted to head back to the hotel to have to drive all the way to the store, I mean who would leave the beach to go to the store? So instead little Jeremiah spent the next 4 hours with nothing but his shorts on. He really enjoyed the freedom of being diaper less  but I had a terrible time imagining that at any moment we would have a diaper blowout, without the diaper!!

The second time around I can assure you that I was more prepared to handle a one year old. Before we even picked up Jeremiah in Oceanside we stopped at CVS Health for Huggies  Snug & Dry along with Huggies Clutch 'n' Clean Wipes. We didn't get him a small package of diaper either, but a box big enough to last no matter how many diaper he went through in a day. This time I didn't have to stress not having enough diapers and wipes, I was able to enjoy my time knowing that we were covered, from diaper blowouts and more!

On beach or pool days, Huggies Little Swimmers are great to have on hand because they allow the kids to get in the water and really enjoy it without the mess of a regular diaper. Huggies Little Swimmers are another must-have for our next vacation at the beach.

We had the most amazing vacation and I personally can't wait to do it again this summer. Especially now that I know how to prepare for the baby boy who will also be joining us. Don't get caught with out enough diapers on your next vacation or even at home! Score some savings: grab this $2 off of $10 Huggies coupon.
