Like any other woman I love high end cosmetics. But if I have a choice between high end or drugstore, I usually pick drugstore. Lately so I don't feel like I am missing anything, I have in fact been delving into both the drugstore and high end world. This way, I have the best of both worlds. Then there are those days when you find a hidden gem that costs practically nothing. That's how I feel about this Blusher & Highlighter Palette that I found at H & M on Friday while shopping for Munkey's birthday gifts.

At only $5.95 this is not going to be amazing quality nor anything out of this world, but it is so pretty, that I just had to scoop it up. I don't have a lot of coral blushers and this has the most beautiful coral shade, as well as a mauvey shade and two different toned highlighters.

For yesterday's look I paired this blusher and highlighter set with a new Jordana Modern Matte Lipstick called Matte Blush. The Jordana Modern Matte line is my favorite line launched this year, up till now. I hadn't purchased this color in the first run I had with them and now that I have tried it, I will be picking up another. By the way, this lipstick is only $2.49, so between the lippe and the blusher set, I didn't even spend $10.

The entire look is all very affordable since I used the Loreal Infalline Pro Matte foundation and Covergirl Full Lash Bloom mascara, as well as the $3 elf brow kit. Like I always say, beauty doesn't have to be expensive.

I loved the overall finished look. It is much more natural than what I normally wear and even though I never do a nude lip, I really liked how this looks. The blusher and pink highlighter gave my skin a great pop of color and light. I already know this blush and lippie will become favorites, and both were so affordable. What budget friendly goodies have you scored lately?

This is only the first cosmetic item I have purchased from H & M Beauty, but after really enjoying it, I will be looking for a few more items on my next visit.
