Being so busy I am always looking out for quick and easy appetizers and food ideas for get togethers with the family. This week we've gotten together a few times to watch the big game play out and of course it is important that we have plenty of food for everyone. If there is anything that our family loves, it's getting together to root for each others teams and enjoy some really good food as a family. My mom always used to do the cooking on these occasions, but now my mom is older and it's not easy for her to make her traditional dishes. That means that now the rest of us have to step in with some dishes of our own, and what I like to do is for everyone to bring something so that way we can enjoy a nice variety.

Today two more of our favorite teams are playing so I went to Walmart the other evening to pick up Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, ground beef, and some Capri Sun. I drink iced tea all day but it's nice to give the kids something to drink that is mess free and that they all love! My girls are huge fans of Capri Sun so it goes without saying that all of the kids love it too.

Have you noticed Capri Sun's new clear bottom pouch? That's right now you can see all the goodness from the bottom of each pouch. Their new formula also has 25% less sugar, which is always good since the kids will be drinking them like crazy.

Okay so my recipe for today had to be very easy and very quick, I had barely come back from a doctors appointment and everyone was going to arrive in 30 minutes. Not a lot of time for a culinary masterpiece but the perfect time to prep a quick snack.

All you need is to make 8 snack cups of my Macaroni & Cheese is:
Pico de Gallo
1/2 onion
2 tomatoes
4-6 peppers
2 springs cilantro
1/8 tbsp salt
1/8 tbsp pepper
1 box Kraft Macaroni & Cheese
1 pound of ground beef
1/4 cup milk
4tbsp margarine

Preparation: Chop and dice all of your veggies for the pico de gallo. Sprinkle the seasoning and mix and set aside. Start browning your ground beef while you prep the macaroni. Cook macaroni and cheese in 6 cups boiling water for 7-8 minutes. Drain and add 1/4 cup milk and 4 tablespoons of margarine. Once your ground beef is evenly cooked, sprinkle a dash of pepper and salt, mix and drain. Combine in the same pot as macaroni and fold together trying not to break noodles apart. Serve in little cups and top with pico de gallo.

As usual I just try to keep the presentation nice and fun.

Now we were ready to eat!

Whether you're making a meal for the family to share while watching the game, or whether you are putting together a fast dinner on any normal week night, Kraft Macaroni & Cheese will always be an easy option. It's really hard to go wrong with something that everyone loves, and as you saw above, you can tweak it in so many ways to give it your own spin! Pair with Capri Sun and now you have a real winner!

My snack cup was delicious. The chiles, tomato and onion really gave this recipe extra texture and sabor! What is your favorite dish to serve family and friends on game day?

I've never made pico de gallo. But this does look so easy. I also love how light it would be for a hot summer evening and who doesn't love Kraft Mac and Cheese?!
