NYC In A New York Color Minute Quick Dry Nail Polish in Mint'ed on Broadway #Swatches

I'm so excited about the NYC In A New York Color Minute Quick Dry Nail Polish colors. I saw the little display a few weeks ago and I loved the colors. Taking advantage of the BOGO free sale at Rite Aid, I was able to get all of them. I did skip on the two glitter top coats, they had a gold and silver, which were pretty enough but I don't think they really went with these shades. See my complete NYC haul here, and keep reading to see what the mint shade looks like.

I'm glad that because of the sale I didn't have to pick and choose because I love all of these colors. I am most excited about the mint and the peachy color. The names of the polishes are:

Mint'ed on Broadway, NY Blues, Lafayette Pink, Hamptons Peach and Nolita's Lavender

This does seem to be the first time I use this line of polishes, hard to believe. Being such a huge fan of Wet N Wild's $1.99 Megalast line, I kind of knew these would be similar. These more affordable brands really seem to deliver on nail polishes and lips products. Pricing is the same at $1.99 and even though they don't have that great wide brush the Megalast line has, these dry in a minute and I can certainly appreciate that. I hate waiting for my nails to dry.

I've been really into mint these days. I was hoping into incorporate a lot of into my new decor, but we didn't find any furniture pieces. Instead I am going to be adding mint accents. It's such a great color, and this polish is no exception.

The formula is very nice, it has a lot of pigment. On the first coat it delivered a ton of color, and for complete opaqueness I added the second. But if you're in a hurry, one might be enough. It definitely dries in a minute and it's thick so it doesn't run all over the place. In my MYC haul I also purchased some of their .99 cent polishes and those are really thin and the color runs into your cuticles. I like this formula better for sure.

The color is very pretty, warmer than another mint which I wore last week ( I will post that soon), but a great shade that can be worn daily for that pop of color.

Overall, I give this polish a 5 out of 5 stars. You can not beat that price, it's quick dry time lets you do your nails even on-the-go. The color is super opaque with two coats and I am love with the shade. If you take a lot of Instagram pics like I do (showing your nails), this is one of those colors that looks awesome with a filter.

I can't wait to swatch the rest of the colors. My nails are definitely going to be covered for spring.

The mint is really cute! I would love to try the lavender as well.

Those seem fairly inexpensive. I like that it dries quickly. I never like seeing my wife walking around holding her hands out as she waits for her nail polish to dry.
