Love Charlotte XO Review and Swatches - Sammy Makes Six

Love Charlotte XO Review and Swatches

I love trying new "affordable" nail polish brands and when I found these on sale on one of my daughters Charlotte Russe trips, I picked them up to try out the formula. These normally retail for $3.50 or 2 for $6 but the day I found them they were .99 and Buy One Get One Half Off. Basically, I paid $1.50 for both polishes, a really good deal for colors that are going to be great for next spring and summer.

Right off the bat let me tell you these formulas are not the same. The Hot Pink on the right is a matte formula that dries instantly. I have yet to use it myself because it's not my color, but the formula and the color is perfect for both Sammy and Lene, especially because it dries so fast. It is a very fluorescent shade that only needs one coat. It really only last about two days on them with no chips.

The second shade is called Persimmon and it's a beautiful coraly shade but the formula when applying is pretty horrible. It took 4 coats to get the color as even as possible and it applies super streaky. You have to really give each coat extra time to dry or the next coat will completely ruin the first. Application was terrible, BUT after all that I was surprised to find it lasted over 5 days without chipping. I'm sure I will probably use the whole bottle up since it's such a pretty color.

For the price I paid for these, I can not complain about them at all. But I would also not pay full price on them from here on out. I went again the other day and they have so many new colors, I am sure I will be buying many more, but I will always make sure to buy them on sale. I have about 6 more that I got at the same time as these, that I will be swatching very soon.

Have you tried Love Charlotte XO polishes before:
