This is the second Love Charlotte XO polish post I have to share with you. To see the first post where I share swatches for two other polishes, click here.
This set below is one that I was specifically looking for at Charlotte Russe for a few weeks after having seen it on You Tube. I got it right before Christmas and ended up getting it during one of their buy one get one half off hour store sales. Regular pricing on all Love Charlotte xo polishes is $3.50 on each or 2 for $6.
While I do LOVE me some glitter polish, I don't normally buy pale pink polishes. Pale pink tends to make my skin look really dark, so I stay away from it as much as I can. In my whole collection I only have one other pale pink from Wet N Wild that I have worn once. But when I saw this on You Tube I really wanted to try it out always figuring that once I shared it on here my girls would most likely really get a lot of use out of them.
Pap is the pink and Dros is the glitter one. I don't know if this is the real name but it's what they stated on the bottom of the bottle. The bottles are absolutely beautiful and I was hoping the formula would be good, which sadly it is not. Dros is fine but Pap is a very thin and streaky formula, just like the Persimmon polish I reviewed here. And just like that polish, it took 4 coats to get an even coating on my nails. That was something I totally did not like about either of these colors, but the saving grace is that this also lasted 5 days without chips. So even though application was a hassle and took a lot longer than I would have liked, at least it lasted quite a few days. And really the end result is so pretty.
Overall I really like this set a lot. While Pap is streaky and uneven, as long as you have the patience to apply 2 coats or more, then it's worth the beautiful result. If you don't have the patience then you def need to skip it. I paid less than $3 for each bottle so you kind of get what you paid for. I will definitely be keeping this for myself and will wear it again. I am going to look for other polishes to use Droid over and will be sure to share when I do.
