We attended Knott's Merry Farm as part of media day and blogger day.
This past Saturday we headed out in the middle of a rainstorm to a much better place, Knott's Berry Farm, where they are having their annual Merry Farm event. By the time we left the Inland Empire the sun was out and though it was a bit chilly, we headed into Knott's for a full day of fun and festivities.
The park was all decked out for Christmas.
Probably my favorite spot in the entire park was Santa's Cabin. Where you can purchase pictures with Santa and sample all kind of goodies.
We had hot coffee with a shot of Kahlua and Bailey's. The girls had cookies with milk as well as sundaes. They even had cinnamon rolls and real Mexican pan dulce.
It was definitely the place to be.
The park was clean and fresh after the storm had passed and there was a nice brisk breeze. If you head out there, definitely bundle up!
We headed to Spurs Patio for a delicious lunch with great service.
And then per the recommendation of our server we went cookie decorating. For only $3 you can purchase a huge gingerbread man that you get to decorate yourself.
This gingerbread man is wearing the Mexico colors.
After that we took a trip on the train.
We hadn't gotten on the train before so this was a lot of fun for Sammy.
There was caroling and a really festive atmosphere in the train.
After that we hit It's Christmas Snoopy, an ice show that was so fun. I was pretty wowed by the show and Sammy was amazed.
After that we hit the tree lighting ceremony. The tree is gorgeous.
We spent the next three hours enjoying the rides!
In the evening it really is the best time for rides, Sammy took advantage and rode all the kiddie games as many times as she wanted.
So did her dad.
The only one on the ride, can you see his feet hanging?
Knott's Merry Farm is going on until January 5th, please visit the Knott's Merry Farm site for more details. I know you can save a lot on tickets if you buy them online, so definitely check that out. We had the best time. And we want to thank Knott's Berry Farm for inviting us to enjoy this day with them. We can't wait to go back.
