Hair Issues : What To Do With His Hair?

It's probably obvious that we don't have a clue what to do with this little guy's hair. I thought this was perfectly fine. He has a puffy little afro and we use a moisturizing product to keep the hair moist and manageable, then comb it out. But today someone commented to my daughter that she needs to do his hair because he can't go around like that. Like what? To me that looks perfectly nice. We are NEVER going to do braids on him, so this is it. I just didn't realize there was anything wrong with it.

Is there anything really wrong with his hair?

I think he looks adorable with his natural hair! You don't need to do a thing! Some people just want to complicate things to fit a certain look, but why when his natural hair is so beautiful the way it is.

My brother used to have similar hair when he was young. He no longer has puffy hair. As he got older, his texture of his hair changed. Your little grandson looks cute with his hair just the way it is! :-)

My boys both wear their natural hair. I don't see anything wrong with it personally.

It depends on the style you're going for and if you look at pictures of Shemar Moore when he was younger his was way crazier than your little boys. He had what I like to call a lopsided afro. HAHA
