I Am #Orgullosa : A Community For Strong Latinas

If you ask me what it means to be a Latina, I would say it means to be strong, confident and very proud of my heritage. As a Latina woman in the U.S. I am always so proud and so excited to see other Latina's achieve and conquer new arenas. We are not only mamas, hermanas, tias, abuelas, novias...you know. We are so many other things; dreamers, social media divas, fashion mavens, achievers and professionals. What we/I am very proud to be is Mujeres con La Falda Bien Puesta™, which translates to, “women with their skirts well positioned.” It means we are independent and strong and ready to accomplish all those dreams that have been in our cabezas since we were little girls.

Have you joined the Orgullosa.com movement?
As a Latina in social media, it has always been important for me to find communities where I can interact with other Latinas and become a part of something larger. Orgullosa.com is not just just a site, it is a movement that celebrates the diverse and collective beauty of Latinas. Here I can interact, share, inspire, be inspired by other ladies and feel a part of a community, that fits me just right.

The power of a community is very strong and I have met so many incredible women through networks and groups, that I would have never met otherwise. These are women that I admire and communicate with daily. We cheer for each other, we support each other and we are there to lend an ear if the other should need it. I truly hope to meet all of these ladies in the very near future.

If you are a Latina con la falda bien puesta and ready to meet other ladies, that are the same as you. Visit  and join Orgullosa.com, follow Orgullosa on Facebook and join the Orgullosa community. There is power in numbers and I love being able to be part of such an amazing group of mujeres.

To be Orgullosa means to be proud. Proud to be a woman, proud to be Latina, proud to be me and proud of all I have to offer.
