This rainy weekend I took the opportunity to get the laundry done using the robby wash ball. To really test it out I threw in the bath towels which by the time it's laundry day are really smelly. Those really are the big test for any laundry soap, during the cold months the towels never really dry all the way and can sometimes come out of the machine still smelling musty and almost moldy. So how would the Robby Wash laundry ball fair against these stinky towels?
Well I was very surprised because all the clothes, including the towels came out smelling...clean! There were no overpowering scents covering up bad smells, which is the only difference I noticed between this and a regular detergent. If you like your clothes to be really scented, this might not be for you. But everything just had a very clean smell and it all looked and felt clean. The softness was medium, not what you get with an added softener but also not hard and rough.
Overall I think that if you want to save money, use a product that is good for your clothes, safe for your family and the environment and don't need the heavy scents that other detergents and softeners leave on your clothes- then the Robby Wash laundry ball would work very well for you. I was not sure how my laundry would end up after using it and was very pleased with just how clean it came out. This is definitely a very eco-friendly way to get your clothes clean and save a lot of money in the process.
