Glee Does Michael Jackson! - Sammy Makes Six

Glee Does Michael Jackson!

Next Tuesday, Glee will finally air, their much anticipated Michael Jackson tribute episode, appropriately titled 'Michael'.
"Will announces a "Michael Week" after the former Troubletones reveal they are disappointed they didn't get to perform in the Jackson family medley at Sectionals, and the rivalry between New Directions and the Dalton Academy Warblers intensifies ahead of Regionals as both groups perform Michael Jackson's music. Quinn (Dianna Agron) is the first senior to get news on her college plans, and Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Rachel (Lea Michele) get news on their NYADA applications, while things get more intense for Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Sam (Chord Overstreet). "

It's jam packed with music, and here's your first look at Blaine Andersons (Darren Criss) rendition of "Wanna Be Startin' Something"...

Other songs to be featured in the episode include...
"Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'"-Blaine Anderson &  Directions
"I Want You Back"-Dalton Academy Warblers
"Bad"- Artie AbramsSantana LopezBlaine Anderson and Sebastian Smythe

"Scream"-Artie Abrams & Mike Chang
"Never Can Say Goodbye"-Quinn Fabray
"Human Nature"/"Nature Boy"-Mercedes Jones & Sam Evans
"Smooth Criminal"-Santana Lopez & Sebastian Smythe
"Ben"-Kurt Hummel, Rachel Berry, & Finn Hudson
"I Just Can't Stop Loving You"-Rachel Berry & Finn Hudson
"Black or White"Mercedes Jones, Santana Lopez, Rachel Berry, Artie Abrams, & Kurt Hummel

In all honesty, I'm a little iffy on the episode. I mean, I personally am not a very big Michael Jackson fan but even I know his music is a lot to live up to. Michael Jackson and other Jackson 5 songs have been featured in the past and they've been fine but I really don't think any of the boys beside Keven McHale (Artie Abrams) have the talent to cover Michael, if it hadn't been for his characters amazing rendition of "Pretty Young Thing" and his lead vocals and "Thriller/Heads Will Roll", I would say the same about him, but he's proven to be a pretty decent Michael Jackson performer. Here's to hoping for a good Michael Jackson episode, airing Tuesday, January 31st on Fox.

One more thing, Glee has also just begun releasing spoiler images of their February 7th episode called 'The Spanish Teacher', guest starring Ricky Martin and Gloria Estefan and...

...right away, I'm gonna say I think this episode has the potential to be seriously offensive and filled with stereotypes. And I'm certainly not looking forward to seeing these actors sing in Spanish, since the two characters who are already supposed to be able to (meaning Santana Lopez and Will Shuester) can't even speak it correctly.
