Express Script Members : Walgreens Wants To Keep Your Business ~!

This post brought to you by Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you have an Express Scripts insurance plan, you might have heard that Walgreens is no longer an approved service provider, and that you must now switch your prescriptions to another pharmacy. Walgreens and Express Scripts were unable to come to an agreement and Walgreens was denied a new contract. As a last effort Walgreens tried to keep Tri Care patients covered, but this contract was also denied and now military families are also having to find themselves burdened with the extra chore of finding a new pharmacy and switching all their families prescriptions. This is the insurance that my girls have, and I didn't even know that this was happening. We have been using Walgreens for as long as I can remember because of the many locations, long pharmacy hours and ease of having them fill our medications.

Though Walgreens is now out of the loop on this, they don't want to lose your business. If you have been pleased with their service and would like to stay on, they are offering a January promotion on their prescription savings plan. Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens usually costs $20 per individual and $35 for a years membership but right now you can join for a significantly reduced price of $5 per individual or $10 for an entire family. This club will provide saving on more than 8,000 brand-name and generic prescriptions. You can also get discounts on flu shots, diabetic supplies and even your pet meds.
