Glee Goes To Prom! - Sammy Makes Six

Glee Goes To Prom!

This may have just been the best episode of Glee yet! I know that I just recently said the same thing about 'Born This Way', but oh my g-d the music, the comedy, and the characters were just all so damn perfect yesterday. My one problem was the 'Rolling In The Deep' cover, I love Lea Michele, and I personally think she can do no wrong, but this song wasn't that great, it really wasn't even her as much as it was the fact that they performed it acapella. That song need the music, not just the lyrics. 'Jar Of Hearts' was gorgeous and totally made up for Lea being apart of the Adele number. Kurt being prom queen, I knew would happen, I mean Glee is all about surprising people. And really if there is one song that is an absolute must at every prom, 'Dancing Queen' is definitely that song, and Naya and Amber did it well. BUT my favorite number of the night...

Sam, Puck, & Artie-Friday (Originally by Rebecca Black)

This was just too damn good! I know allot of people got like really offended when they announced that they were doing this song, saying they shouldn't give the girl any more fame, but I think Ryan and the cast's not so secret obsession with this song is kind of awesome. I find it very catchy. Although I do think that Chord Overstreet needs a very big hair cut. :-(

I missed two episodes because of events at my daughter's school (how could they plan things on Tuesday nights???). I did catch the Prom episode and loved the way they did "Friday". And my daughter and I agree...he does need a haircut!

I wasn't offended by it at all!! I think they did a great job with the song and made it a lot more bearable than the Rebecca Black version. I'm really surprised that they got the rights to it and so soon!
