Holey Moley Batman ,You Have 5 Kids !!!! - Sammy Makes Six

Holey Moley Batman ,You Have 5 Kids !!!!

Actually since I don't go out all that much nowadays, I don't get asked this question all that much anymore. Or people will see me with all the girls and they probably think Sam is my granddaughter, but when it was just the 4 girls and they were small I would get a lot of comments about it. A lot of people would say that I probably had so many girls because I had been trying to get a boy, or they would tell me that we must not have had a t.v.

Actually no, we could have stopped at two or three if we wanted to, but my girls were happy occurrences of a marriage. I married my ex-husband when I already had my oldest, who was 1 1/2 at the time and we just let the babies come as they may. Boy, did they come fast too, all of them after my oldest are about a year apart.
After the 3rd, we were not sure about having more. It was a bit hectic with 3 little ones and a full time job. But low and behold, one day I was working a new job when one day I felt sick as a dog and had some strange spotting, I went home to find out that I was once again pregnant. Though my ex was in the military and we didn't have a lot of money, I never went back to work. That was the last day that I worked for about 4 years, I was able to stay home and take care of my 3 little ones and wait for Munkey to arrive.

We were married for 7 years total and most of it was pretty nice,we traveled to Hawaii and lived there a few years and it was like a bit of heaven. Later on things changed and I had to start to work and my girls lives changed because I was gone to work more than I was home, but at least I had those few years with them. As for their Dad, he has turned into someone who I don't even know. He is on his third wife and she has 2 grown kids and that is the family that he concentrates on. His girls have learned through the years not to count on him for anything but some occasional cash and birthday gifts.

Though he is a complete jerk now, I am still thankful for the precious years that he was able to take responsibility and take care of his family and for the fact that through him I got 3 of them. In the end we've learned that he is of little consequence to any of us anyways and we happily live with out him :)
